Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-01-T-2226. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This is an unrestricted purchase, and the Government intends to waive the requirements of the Buy American Act and the Trade Agreements Act, in accordance with the authority specified in DFARS 225.872-1; if required. The Federal Supply Code for this acquisition is 5680, the North American Industry Classification System code is 421390. The Defense Priorities and Allocation Syst em (DPAS) rating for this order is: DO-C9A. CLIN 0001: Hesco Bastion Concertainer (or equal), MIL 1B Plus Edition barrier. 10m x 1.06m x 1.37m (LxWxH), with Center Pin for tear down and removal. Technical Description: Made from 75mm x 75mm x 4mm heavily galvanized welded wire mesh. 4mm heavily galvanized coil hinges and joining pins. Lined with heavy duty, non-woven, polypropylene geotextile, fully secured to wire mesh. Tan Color. Quantity: 200 CLIN 0002: Hesco Bastion Concertainer (or equal), MIL 2B barrier. 1.21m x .61m x .61m (LxWxH). Technical Description: Same as CLIN 0001. Quantity: 1600. Delivery shall be to U.S. Marine Corps Forces in Ad Daqahliyah Egypt. Required Delivery Date: 15 September 2001. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supp lement (DFARS) clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration;252.229-7000 Invoices Exclusive of Taxes or Duties; 252.229-7006 Value Added Tax Exclusions (United Kingdom); 252.229-7007 Verification of United States Receipt of Goods; 252.233-7001 Choice of Law (overseas); 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items with the following additional DFARS clauses being cited as applicable to this acquisition: 252.243-7002 Certification of Requests for Equitable Adjustment, 252.247-7023 (Alt I). Offerors shall be required to submit the following information in order for their quotation to be considered: 1) Prices for the above mentioned items. 2) Shipping Costs and associated data (weight, packing, etc) for the location list ed above. 3) Delivery Date. 4) Product literature that specifies the manufacturing specifications, including any testing data for strength, durability, stackability, as well as specification regarding the packaging of material. 5) Past Performance information including Agency Name, contact information and phone number and/or street address or previous customers. 6) A completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications found under the following provisions: FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, DFARS 252-212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items.
