Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is preparing: (1) a draft Cancellation Notice for MIL-I-24204A, Insulation, Electrical, High Temperature, Bonded, Synthetic Fiber Paper, and (2) a draft Adoption Notice for NEMA FI-3-1998, Title: Calendered Aramid Papers Used for Electrical Insulation. NAVSEA intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vender base. Prospective vendors who desire to receive and comment on a circulation copy should send their request to CommandStandards@navsea.navy.mil. Cite the document number (MIL-I-24204A or NEMA FI-3-1998) and title, and an email address to receive the document when it is circulated.
