Description

This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR 6.2 and contemplates a sole source contract with Beckman Coulter, Inc. of Brea, CA for reagents, reagent kits and controls in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The base period covers deliveries during the period 01 Oct 2001 to 30 Sept 2002 and the contract will contain three annual options. This combined synopsis/solicitation for the following 42 commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This procurement is unrestricted; the NAIC is 325199 and the standard is 1,000 employees. This contract will be on an FOB destination basis; unit prices should include all delivery charges for deliveries on the first Monday of each month in accordance with the below schedule to the Great Lakes Naval Hospital at 510 "B" Street, Great Lakes, IL 60088.
