Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is preparing: (1) a draft Notice of Inactivation for New Design for MIL-L-23886C(SH), Liquid Level Indicating Equipment (Electrical), and (2) a draft Adoption Notice for ASTM F2044, Standard Specification for Liquid Level Indicating Equipment, Electrical. NAVSEA intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vender base. Prospective vendors who desire to receive and comment on a circulation copy should send their request to CommandStandards@navsea.navy.mil. Cite the document number (MIL-L-23886C(SH) or ASTM F2044) and title, and an email address to receive the document when it is circulated. Copies of ASTM F2044 may be purchased from American Society for Testing and Materials, 100 Barr Harbor Drive, West Conshohocken, PA 19428-2959.
