Description

The contractor shall provide custom optical windows and mirrors for the off-axis telescopic optical system. The testbed optics require light weight optical elements. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Stabilite Cellular Mirrors, Pottsville, AK pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410) 278-6522. All responsible sources may a bid or proposal which will be considered by the Agency. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. No telephone request will be honor. *****
