Annual requirement for the following types and quantities of compressed gasses in support of Naval Hospital, Guam: 1) Nitrogen, liquid, bulk, type II, class I, grade B, purity 99.50 minimum percent by volume, oxygen 0.50 maximum percent by volume, moisture 25 ppm maximum, no odor, Estimated Annual Qty (EAQ) is 240 GL; 2) Nitrogen, compressed, technical, grade B, type 1, 187 CF, 1800-2000 psi, purity 99.5% minimum percent by volume, oxygen 0.50 maximum percent by volume, 25 ppn maximum moisture, no odor, EAQ is 6,600 CF; 3) Nitrous Oxide, medical/USP, CGA, G-8.2, grade A, 487 lbs CF, class 2.2, UN1070, non-flammable gas, oxidizer, purity 99.0 minimum percent by volume, carbon monoxide 10 ppm (vapor), nitric oxide 1 ppm (vapor), nitrogen dioxide 1 ppm (liquid), halogen 1 ppm (vapor), carbon dioxide 300 ppm (vapor), ammonia 25 ppm (vapor), water (v/v) 200 ppm (vapor), dew point minus 33F, Note ppm amounts indicate the maximum allowable amounts, EAQ is 4 CY; 4) Oxygen, compressed, medical/USP grade, type 1, 200 cf, 1800-2000 psi, EAQ is 540,000 CF; 5) Oxygen, compressed, medical/USP grade, type 1, 12 cf, 1800-2000 psi, EAQ is 9,300 CF; 6) Butan-propane mixture, bulk, Federal Spec BB-G-110 Type III Oderize, specific gravity 60/60 F: 0.510-0.590, vapor pressure at 100 F, PSIG: 85-210, volatile sulfer, grains/100 CF maximum: 15, volatile residue, degree F maximum: 36, corrosion, copper strip, maximum number: 1, residual matte/residue on evaporation of 100 ml maximum, 0.05 ml, free water content: none, EAQ 3,600 GL; 7) Carbon dioxide, medical/USP, CGA, G-6.2, grade E, 3 lbs and 12 oz cylinder, dew point: minus 32 F, carbon monoxide: 10 ppm, hydrogen sulfide: 1 ppm, nitric oxide: 2.5 ppm, nitrogen dioxide: 2.5 ppm, ammonia: 25 ppm, sulfer dioxide: 5 ppm, Note ppm amounts indicate the maximum allowable amounts, EAQ is 120 LB; 8) Carbon dioxide, technical, grade B, type II, purity 99.5 percent minimum by volume, moisture maximum by volume: 0.092 mg H20/1, odor: none, EAQ is 12 EA 50 lb cylinders; 9) Carbon dioxide, solid (dry ice) in equilibrium with its vapor at one atmosphere at 109.3 degrees F, EAQ is 840 LB; 10) Air, compressed, medical/USP air, CGA G-7.1 grade N, 200 CF, 1800-2000 psi, carbon dioxide 500 ppm, carbon monoxide 10 ppm, nitric oxide 2.5 ppm, nitrogen dioxide 2.5, no odor, no oil, 19.5-23.5 percent oxygen, sulfer dioxide 5 ppm, Note ppm amounts indicate the maximum allowable amounts, EAQ is 1,800 CF; 11) Oxygen, compressed, medical/USP grade, type 1, 22 CF, 1800-2000 psi, EAQ 240 CF; and 12) Caps, cylinder, safety 12 each. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity supply type contract. The period of performance for the Base Year is 01 December 2001 through 30 November 2002 Up to four one-year option periods may be included. FOB Destination Naval Hospital Guam. This procurement action is unrestricted. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFP. This office will not maintain a solicitation mailing list. Paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will not be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection. No telephone requests for the RFP will be accepted. An email request to julie_a_peterson@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event that an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website.
