Description

This is a notice of intent to provide and install a 140-foot self supporting hot dipped galvanized tubular pole Antenna Tower at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. The tower will have as a minimum safety climb, obstruction lighting, grounding, and hardware to support cabling. Contractor will also install a horizontal waveguide galvanized self-supporting ice bridge from building to the tower. The ice bridge must be high enough to clear an existing 10-foot fence and allow proper cable installation. The contractor shall use FAA standards, ANSI standards, and Motorola radio system standards in its accomplishment. This is a full and open competition. Contractor will perform in accordance with the Statement of Requirement. "An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Joseph P. Maryeski, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
