Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-01-76 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 421850. A quotation is requested for Three complete systems including Helitorch Units, three Modular Mixing Systems and three 25 foot lightweight 2 inch transfer hoses with dry breaks. Each barrel will have a fill pipe from top fill opening to the bottom of the Barrel to eliminate splash filling of barrels. The units must be dual ignition with no propane assist. The systems must meet all applicable OSHA, DOT, EPA, and NFPA requirements. Delivery of equipment is required September 28, 2001 to: Coeur d?Alene River District, Wallace Office, ATTN: Henry Nipp, Yellowstone Street, Silverton, ID 83867, The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
