Description

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), intends to purchase the brand name only items listed below, manufactured by Spectra-Physics Lasers, Inc., 1335 Terra Bella Avenue, P.O. Box 7013, Mountain View, California 94039-7013. 1) One (1) each, Model J20I-BL-106C Fiber Diode-Pumped, 1064nm Solid-State Laser System. Output power of >4W cw. Utilizing full air cooled rack mount power supply; 2) One (1) each, Model Trem-C1 optional hand held remote control for the J series power supply; and 3) One (1) each, Model 407A-1 -- high power, portable broadband optical power meter system. Measures from 5m W to 20W, 250nm-12um. Includes detector head with mounts, power supply/battery recharger and readout electronics. Responses to this notice must submit clear and convincing documentation indicating that the items proposed are the brand name items required. This requirement is under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number 334516, size standard 500 employees. There are no set aside restrictions for this requirement. Proposals are due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or August 16, 2001, whichever is later at 3:00 P.M. Eastern time. Proposals must include an itemized price list, citing the list price, the discounted price, delivery / freight charges, delivery time (after receipt of the purchase order), prompt payment discount terms, NAICS code, Business size, DUNS number, descriptive literature and detailed specifications describing the product offered. Proposals will be evaluated on conformance to the government's specifications, quality, price and delivery time. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency.
