Description

The Army Research Laboratory intends to negotiate with Texax A&M University for Statement of Work, Title: Development of Command and Control (C2) Collaborative Agents for Simulating Teamwork (CAST) Model for the Research and Development Centers (RDEC) Federation. The objective of this effort is to enhance the TaskableAgent architecture for use as an agent-based human C2 staff component integrated with the RDEC Federation for the purpose of analyzing human performance within the context of the FCS. Negotiations are planned solely with Texas A&M. Texas A&M has developed a multi-agent architecture specifically designed for simulating the internal operations, decision-making, and communication flows of battalion tactical operations centers (TOC's). There is no other agent-based simulation of battalion and brigade TOCs that is already at the stage of representing doctrinally correct TOC decision-making. Texas A&M is the only source of the knowledge or resources to adapt the TaskableAgents source code in the manner required by the proposed effort. The value of this procurement is estimated at less than $60,000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability.
