Description

Provide A/E services to design a new 18 Bed Psychiatric Nursing Unit at the VA Medical Center, West Roxbury, MA. Work to include Site Investigation, Working Drawings, Construction Period Services, Site Visits and Cost Estimates. Design to include all Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Trades as well as Industrial Hygiene Services to survey for asbestos and other hazardous materials to be abated during construction. All design to confrom to VA standards as well as current NFPA and other applicable codes. Architect/Engineering firms experienced in mental heath planning and design are requested to submit three (3) copies of Statement of Qualification Forms 254 and 255 to provide A/E and MEP Technical Servivces for the design and preparation of construction bid documents for this project. All responsible sources may submit referenced documentation by September 5, 2001, which will be considered by this agency. Estimated design costs are betwen $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
