Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female offenders in the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area. Location of the facility shall be within the boundaries of the following counties in Missouri: Butler, Stoddard, or Wayne. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statements of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated December 2000 and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Services (TDAT), dated November 16, 1999. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 75% male and 25% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Line Item One, CCC services, are 8,760 for the two-year base period and 4,380 for each of the three one-year option periods. For Line Item Two, TDAT services, the estimates are as follows: 2 intake assessments, 480 units of 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 720 units of 30-minute group counseling for the two-year base period; 2 intake assessments, 240 units of 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 360 units of 30-minute group counseling for each of the three one-year option periods. The solicitation will be available on or after September 25, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
