Description

The project entails the following: a) Earthwork to improve approximately 2100 linear feet of existing road to a 20 feet wide minimum driving surface. Earthwork includes blading cut slopes and embankments and grading as needed to get the required width. b) Furnish and install four (4) corrugated metal pipes. c) Furnish and place riprap at corrugated metal pipe inlets and outlets. The riprap at the pipe inlets and outlets shall be grouted. d) Furnish and install silt fence within 50 feet of wetlands. The Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel is located one mile north of Leadville on Highway 91 in Lake County. The due date for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) is tentatively scheduled for August 28, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This will be full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 234110. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1611. The small business size standard is $17.0 Million. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to (406) 247-7798. The fax must include contractors name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification and DUNS numbers.
