Description

SOLICITATION RESPONSE DATE IS 09/07/01 AT CLOSE OF BUSINESS (4:30 PM). This project includes the replacement of faucet units along with short waterline extensions, paving of turnouts and walkways near existing toilets and raising the road grade near one toilet location. The work will be performed at three (3) separate campground locations; Sand Flat C.G. on the Placerville District, Big Meadows C.G. on Georgetown District and Hell Hole C.G. on Georgetown district. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. There will be no pre-bid meeting or tour. Interested parties are encouraged to visit project sites: Sand Flat C. G. is located approximately 28 miles east of Placerville on Hwy 50. Big Meadows and Hell Hole campgrounds are located 22 miles east of Georgetown on Wentworth Springs Rd. then go northeast approximately 27 and 29 miles respectively on Eleven Pines Rd. (Forest Highway 2). Solicitation packages will be available approximately August 20, 2001. There will be no charge for the plans or specifications.
