Description

North Cascades National Park Service Complex will issue a Request for Quotations on or about August 20, 2001, for driving three timber pile dolphins in Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. The job site is near Stehekin, Washington, a remote wilderness community located at the head of Lake Chelan. It is 50 miles uplake from Chelan, Washington, and cannot be reached by car, but can be reached by boat or float plane. Lodging and limited restaurant facilities are available. The work may not take place until spring of 2002, dependent on water level at time of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990 (All other heavy construction and the size standard is $27.5 million. The proposed solicitation is open to all sources in accordance with FAR Part 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded on or about September 14, 2001.
