Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources of supply for a Interface Unit, Comm, National Stock Number 5895-01-443-5081, Manufacturer Part Number 3348, and it is a part of end item G88MSE. The only known manufacturer for this equipment is Star Dynamics. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current source. The above item must be able to be fully and successfully integrated into the end item. It is CECOM's intention to award a 5 year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the subject item, with an initial quantity of 534 units. The maximum quantity for each year will not exceed 1000 units. The response must include documentation (e.g. test results, form, fit, and function interchangeable down to the repair parts level). Successful supplier will be required to warrant satisfactory performance when used for the purpose intended by the Government and be delivered on time. The deadline for response to this notice is 29 August 01.
