Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for Geo-Textile Filter Fabric, AMOCO 2002 PDF or Equivalent, with the following specifications: 200 lb grab strength; 90 lb puncture Resistance; 75 lb Trapez Tear; 70% UV Resistance; 50 US Sieve opening size; 4 GAL/MIN/SQF flow rate. Requirement is for approximately 11,200 square yards on rolls. Rolls to be cut to the following sizes prior to acceptance: (1) 4 Rolls 14 ft Wide x 450 ft Long. (2) 10 Rolls 9.5 ft Wide X 450 ft Long. (3) 10 Rolls 4.5 ft Wide X 450 ft Long. (4) 6 Rolls 4.66 ft wide X 450 ft Long. Fabric to be picked up by government vehicle. Required delivery date is August 20, 2001. Solicitation No. DACW29-01-T-00145 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set aside. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 5191 and the business size standard is 100 employees. The requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Items.
