The proposed contract is for a maximum period of five years, a base year (FY 2002) and four one-year option periods (FY's 2003-2006 inclusive). This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. The determination to use other than full and open competition was made in accordance with 41 USC(c)(1). Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. There is no solicitation document. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
