Description

The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a Best Value requirement for a contractor to furnish all management, supervision, labor, floating plant, boats, transportation, tools, spraying equipment, and EPA-approved herbicides necessary to chemically spray unwanted floating aquatic vegetation, from boats on the surface of waterways, on approximately 5,000 acres in Southeast Louisiana. Award will be based on the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. Proposals will be evaluated for acceptability, but not ranked, using the following non-cost/price factors: 1) Experience, 2) Personnel, 3) Equipment, and 4) Field Supervision. The solicitation is currently available and all interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax (504)862-2889 or by e-mail: Ione.M.Cataldo@mvn02.usace.army.mil. Requests for this solicitation shall be in writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number and facsimile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. The due date for proposals will be established by amendment. This solicitation is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity.
