Description

CLASSIFICATION CODE D: The proposed 6 month extension, sole-source, of the DSS-G contract will provide the time required to transition the existing task orders to the proposed awardees of DCA200-00-R-5023 (DISN Global Solutions) for life cycle management of the DISN with world-wide support. This extension is required to assure that the new awardees have sufficient time to obtain the required security clearances and Technical Expert Status Authorization (TESA). this effort shall include, but shall not be limited to Program Management support, Engineering Services, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, Service provisioning support, Network Management support, hardware and software maintenance, subscriber integration services, Management Information System (MIS) support, training and other services reuqired for DISN support. The NAICS is 513310 (Telecommunications Networks, Wired). The sole-source negotiation will be held with SAIC Information Services Sector Corp., Contracts, 7990 Science Applications Court, Mail Stop CV52, Vienna, VA 22183-7000. The six month period of performance is 1 December 2001 thru 31 May 2002. Note 22 applies
