8030-00-515-2488 UI: CN CORROSION PREVENTIVE COMPOUND: DESCRIPTION In accordance with Military Specification MIL-C-21067C, Coating Compound, Synthetic Rubber, for Exposed Steel Surfaces, dated August 28, 1992 and Amendment 1 dated September 1, 1999. Size: The product shall be furnished in 5 gallon quantities in 24 gage minimum, metal shipping pails of the type normally used for this product provided that there will be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the container or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. Each pail shall be provided with a handle of the type in accordance with normal commercial practice. The pails shall, as a minimum, meet the applicable requirements of the National Motor Freight Classification, Uniform Freight Classification, Department of Transportation regualtions and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. Shelf life code: 4 (12 months) Maximum age on delivery: 2 months
