Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure MIL-STD-1553 Interface Adapter Cable Sets, P/N 3741AS100-1, for the F/A-18C/D aircraft. The required quantity is 2 (two) each initial production sets and the provision of final Product Drawings in AutoCAD 14 (or higher) format. The MIL-STD-1553 Interface Adapter Cable Set (IACS) shall be a Non-Developmental-Item (NDI) comprised of approximately 34 cables. Engineering sketches of all the cables comprising the IACS will be provided with the solicitation. The Government is anticipating a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The delivery for the production units, quantity of 2 (two), shall be presented for final inspection and acceptance NLT 330 days after contract award. The delivery for the final Product Drawings shall be NLT 330 days after contract award. All IACSs shall be packaged in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Business" then "Doing Business With Us" and "Open Solicitations." Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors. The solicitation is posted on the web as of 02 August 01. The Government will not accept electronic proposals.
