- Description
- It is the intent of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to purchase the Leica, Inc. brand name only of nine (9) Microsystems Systems. The microscope systems are manufactured by Leica, Inc., 111 Deer Lake Road, Deerfield, Illinois, 60015. The microscope systems are: UNIT NO. 1 -- Leica Fluorescence Stereo-microscope, Model MZ FL III, Quantity 1 Each; UNIT NO. 2 -- Leica Model MZ 12.5, Stereo-microscope, Quantity 2 Each. UNIT NO. 3 -- Leica Model DM IRE2, Inverted Robotic Microscope, with 4D Restoration, -Quantity 1 Each. UNIT NO. 4 -- Leica Model DM IRE2, Inverted Robotic Microscope, for Time Lapse, Quantity 1 Each.; UNIT NO. 5 -- Leica Laser Microdisection Microscope System, Quantity 1 Each; UNIT NO. 6 -- Leica Model DM IRE2, Inverted Robotic Microscope S3B for Electrophysiology, Quantity 1 Each.; UNIT NO. 7 -- Leica Closed Environmental Chamber for Leica DM IRE2 Microscope, with CO2 and Temperature Regulation., Quantity 1 Each. UNIT NO. 8 -- Upgrade Tube Optics On Existing Leica DM RA, Quantity 1 Each.; UNIT NO. 8 -- Upgrade Tube Optics On Existing Leica DM RA, Quantity 1 Each; and UNIT NO. 9 -- Leica Model MZ 12.5, Stereo-microscope, Quantity 1 Each. Line item specifications for each of the systems will be outlined in the solicitation document. The Government's desired delivery and acceptance schedule is 120 Days after receipt of award. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the items specified in this synopsis should request a copy of the solicitation package from the address below. This requirement is under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number 333314, size standard 500 employees. There are no set aside restrictions for this requirement. Solicitation document NHLBI-PS-2001-049 will be released on or about August 10, with proposals due on or about August 26, 2001. All requests for a copy of the solicitation document must be in writing, citing Solicitation Number: NHLBI-PS-2001-049. Requests may be submitted by mail to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Rockledge Building 2, Suite 6042, Bethesda, Maryland 20892-7902, Attention: Cecilia Morales.
