Description

This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpa rt 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only soli citation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-01-T-0095 using Simplified Acquisition Procedu res for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed i n full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. This is an unrestricted competitive action. All respons ible business sources may submit a quotation via fax number above, which shall be considered by the agency. Best Value Evalu ation of quotations shall include: beverage base 10 points each total 70 points, dispenser with built in ice maker 10 points , dispenser with ice dispenser 5 points, past performance 5 points and pricing 10 points. The Naval Submarine Base New Lond on requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing five-gallon containers of beverage base (bag in the box)an d installation of three vendor-owned 8-valve soda dispenser equipped with ice dispensing capability on the beverage line of the food service area at SUBASE Galley. A built-in ice-maker is preferred, however machines with ice dispenser requiring rep lenishment is the minimum acceptable alternative. The contractor shall provide comprehensive preventive and corrective maint enance with coverage seven days a week 24 hours a day. Minimum acceptable on site response time shall be four hours from pla cement of trouble call. The resultant award will be a Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order consisting of a base period October 01, 2001 through September 30, 2002 and up to four Option Years. Option years October 01, 2002 through September 30, 2006, each option year renewable at the discretion of the Government. The estimated quantity for the base year and all option year s is 1750 five gallon containers; 350 cola, 200 diet cola, 150 root beer, 350 pepper, 350 lemon lime, 150 orange, and 200 fr uit flavored punch. Quotations should be based on F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. Pla ce of Delivery as follows: Submarine Base Galley, Building 446, Naval Submarine Base NLON, Groton CT 06349. Quotation shoul d include separate product pricing for the base year, separate pricing for each option year, and dispenser pricing with spec ifications of dispensers. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the resultant order.
