Description

It is the intent of the National Transportation Safety Board to contract on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302 with the vendor Falex Corporation. Falex Corporation shall provide a series of standardized wear tests (ASTM 3704 and 3702) on aluminum bronze/steel sliding couples. Fabricate test specimens for the tests, and provide reduced data in electronic format. Prepare a final written report. Interested vendors may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement or submita proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received wihtin fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the National Transportation Safety Board. Numbered Note (22).
