Description

J -- The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to procure 12 manmonths of engineering support for the CH-47 Aircraft, support shall be provided on-site AMCOM Depot Maintenance Engineering Team (DMET) at Corpus Christi Army Depot. All services and data delivered under this contractor require the design expertise and proprietary data available only from the aircraft designer. The services provided focus on the recapitalization program and include repair and design expertise and data, physical evaluation of aircraft airframes and components, exchange of new repair development data with government engineers, and periodic review and analysis of condemned material. Tentative solicitation closing date is 20 Sep 01. Period of performance will be one year with an option to extend for an additional year. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price contract with cost reimbursable line items for travel and/or overtime. See Note 22
