Description

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and qualified supervision to test and complete annual maintenance on approximately 880 fire extinguishers. All extinguishers must meet current NFPA 10 codes, and must be checked for 6 and 12 year maintenance, and have annual certification. There are several classes of extinguishers, and they are located in 52 buildings at the VA Medical Center, North Chicago, Illinois; 4 homes in North Chicago; and 2 CBOC'S (Community Based Outpatient Clinics). The inspecting company must provide certification of training for their staff. All annual work must be completed in September of each year.
