Description

Operation of the Base Library at Moody AFB GA. The Moody AFB Library is a general library in the Air Force Library and Information System (AFLIS). AFLIS general libraries are mission-sustaining activities, which meet the complex, multi-faceted information needs of the military community. Work includes general administration of the library, collection management, financial management, marketing, public services, mission support, educations upport, and quality of life. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for the solicitation is 8231 and the small business size standard is $5,000,000.00. The contract will be for a basic period of one (1) year with up to four (4) option years, and the total contract period iwll not exceed five (5) years. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and award will be using Price-Performance Tradeoff in accordance with FAR Part 15. The evaluation factors wil be past performance and price. The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Aug 01 and will be available to view and download on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) site located at www.eps.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will NOT be mailed. Be sure to check the solicitation after issuance woth verify the correct proposal resonse date. All amendments will be posted on the EPS site as well. A copy of the solicitation will be available for review free of charge at the 347th Contracting Squadron, 4380B Alabama Road, Moody AFB GA.
