Description

Description: Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to landscaping work to provide a sprinkler and drip irrigation system, a reinforced concrete slab-on-grade, grass sod, planting of shrubs and a tree, providing landscape rock, and gravel surfacing. Fine grading of the areas to receive sod, rock, or surfacing is also required as well as layout services and drawing preparation for the irrigation system and recommendations for location and types of sod, shrubs, and the tree to be planted. Work shall be conducted at Western Area Power Administration's Casper Service Center. The magnitude of this construction project is less than $25,000. Estimated completion date is 180 days after Notice to Proceed. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none" basis. The solicitation package will be issued hard copy free of charge. Note: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, Western procurement officials will be limiting availability of the solicitation package. Therefore, only a limited number of copies will be issued on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 22, 2001. This acquisition is set aside for Emerging Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235990 and the size standard for Emerging Small Business is $13.75 Million. All qualified Emerging Small Businesses may submit a written request for the solicitation package via fax at 970.461.7377.
