Description
Remove existing kitchen cabinets and counter tops, acquire and install new cabinets and countertops in both residences. Remove exisiting, obtain and install 2-speed vent fan with light location above range. Range vent hood shall be attached to cabinet and vented to outside. Remove vanity and contertop, medicine cabinet, water closet, and tub surrounds in both residences. Obtain and install new medicine cabinets in both residences. Remove existing "plastic tile" wainscoting in main baths. Repair and finish any wall damaged in removal of winscoting. Finish, prime, and paint bath walls in both residences. Remove existing primary doors at front and rear kitchen entrances to residences, obtain and install new primary doors in both residences. Remove existing primay doors at front and rear kitchen entrances to residences, obtain and install new primary doors in both residences. Remove, refinish and reinstall interior and closet doors of both residences. Install vinyl flooring in kitchens and baths of south residence NDPL39. Remove existing, obtain and install carpet in south residence NDPL39. Remove existing garage door, obtain and install new door on north residence NDPL40. Remove and dispose of all construction materials, not the property of the Government, in a manner to comply with local and state code. All electrical work shall be executed in accordance with the latest National Electrical Code (NEC), Underwriters Laboratories, and local codes. All work shall comply with ASME/ANSI standards. Contractor shall visit the site to make necessary inspections, measurements, and familiarize themselves to the requirement prior to submitting a bid proposal. Contractor shall verify all existing conditions at the project site prior to starting work.
