Description

The United States Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, (WAPA) has a requirement for the Removal, Transportation and Disposal/Recycling of Electrical Equipment and Oil from Parker Stage 06. Parker Dam is located in Parker, California. Solicitations will be available upon WRITTEN REQUEST ONLY, on or about August 10, 2001. A site visit is being conducted Tuesday August 7, 2001, that the Parker Dam location. Other visits can be arranged by calling WAPA, Mrs. Marcum at 602-352-2422. Mrs. Marcum is the contact for technical questions, Mrs. Johnson is the contact for contracting questions. This requirement is issued as a Commercial Item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 14, Invitation for Bid (IFB).A Fixed Priced Contract will be awarded, with an estimated quatity clause to be used were applicable. This procurement is not set-aside for small business concerns. The standard industrial code is 1799 and NIACS 562910 and the business size standard is $11.5 million or less. Technical specification compliance, past performance and price will be considered in award of this contract. All Bidders must provide at least 3 references for review of past performance. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement in writing within the required time frame will be provided any changes or amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
