Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes but is not limited to demolishing existing carpet and sheet vinyl flooring as identified, preparing floor substrate and installation of new carpet and sheet vinyl flooring. Replacing missing plywood flooring as identified, remove and replace carpet on stairs, remove and/or replace four (4) inch rubber vinyl wall base, remove and reinstall stoves and refrigerators, remove and reinstall toilets with new wax rings and bolts, and incidental related work at various family housing units at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. The North American Industry Classification System (N.A.I.C.S) Code is 561790, and the small business size standard is $5.0 Million. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. This requirement is being solicited as 100% set aside for small businesses in accordance with FAR clause 52.219-6, NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of this requirement will be limited to the electronic medium; this requirement will be available for viewing and downloading, free of charge, via http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholder's list will be maintained on, and may be printed from, this website. All prospective offerors and planrooms are required to register as planholders on this website.
