Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a requirement for a Speed Reducer. Request for Quotation No. 01-SQ-34-0301 will be issued for this requirement. This acquitiion is being issued unrestricted, under full and open competition. For this acquisiton, the North American Industrial Classification Code is 333612 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a requirement for a Speed Reducer to be used on a American Marine & Machinery Company, Inc. (AMMCO) vessel (dredge). The Speed Reducer shall be coupled to a new pump which is a GIW S12X14 LSA 36 and requires 660 rpms. The existing (Lufkin Model DFV-300-CH )speed reducer output is only 569 rpms. This acquisition is for a new speed reducer with a 1.82:1 ratio, with the same foot print for mounting and the same input and output shaft height and dimensions to minimize installation modifications. FOB is Destination. Delivery of the Speed Reducer is desired within 12 weeks after receipt of order; however, alternate delivery timeframes will be considered. Delivery shall be made to Bureau of Reclamation, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma AZ 85364. The estimated issuance date is August 10, 2001.
