- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and award shall be made in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This notice constitutes the only solicitation (request for quotation). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. A written solicitation (request for quotation)will not be issued. Solicitation N68936-01-T-0241 is being issued as a request for proposal that will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27, DCN 200123 and class deviation 2001-00002. Delivery is required on or before 03 Mar 02. NAWS China Lake, CA FOB is Destination. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure an IR Camera for use in an outdoor application at the Electronic Combat Range located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA. The camera must perform to the following specifications: Spectral Bandpass, 1.5 -- 2.5 microns; Focal Plane Array (FPA), 512 x 512 pixels minimum with AR coating optimized for 1.5 -- 2.5 micron bandpass; FPA Frame Rate, 100 Hz; FPA Resolution, 20 milliKelvin NEdT maximum; FPA Fill Factor, >90%; IfoV, 0.25 mrad per pixel; Digital Output, RS422 compatible 14-bit realtime video with minimum 35' interface cable; Camera Lens, Bayonet Mount; Camera Cooling, Closed Cycle Stirling; Operating Temperature Range, -20C to +70C; Vibration, 5G rms any axis; Environmentally Sealed against rain, snow, blowing dust and winds up to 100 MPH; Camera system must include real-time image acquisition software that will interface with a Windows based PC; Standard Commercial Documentation. Offeror must submit vendor documentation including product information, data sheets, operating parameters and technical specifications showing current Infrared base camera and all required modifications to the base camera utilized in response to this solicitation. This acquisition is being awarded under FAR Part 12 procedures. Award will be made on or about 4 September 2001.
