Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number is 41702-014. (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-26. (iv)This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 324110, the small business size standard is 100 employees. (v)Item 1: UNLEADED FUEL, 89 OCTANE. 23000 GALLONS Item 2: #1 DIESEL FUEL, 3000 GALLONS. Item 3:FEDERAL EXCISE TAX ON UNLEADED FUEL. 23000 GALLONS. Item 4:FEDERAL EXCISE TAX ON DIESEL FUEL. 3000 GALLONS. (vi)Payment must be by government credit card or electronic funds transfer. (vii)This is an idefinite quantity/ definite delivery solicitation. Deliveries shall run from 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. Deliveries shall be on call, approximately one time per month. Delivery shall be to the Federal Correctional Institution, East Arkona Road, Garage, Milan, Michigan 48160. (viii)Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix)Price and Past Performance shall be the evaluation factors for this solicitation.
