Description

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals from individuals or small businesses, under FAR Part 13 -- SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES, with the capability to research the achievements of the six ongoing Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Initiatives; update the Report on currently funded SPNS Initiatives; develop a report on the new 2001 collaborative effort with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on the use of clinical informatics and information technology to reduce medical errors and improve patient safety; and develop other reports especially on significant new findings that require immediate dissemination. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Award of a contract resulting from this solicitation is restricted to an individual or small businesses. It is anticipated that a twelve-month purchase order will be awarded. Note Number 1 applies. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 22, 2001 with a closing date on or about August 31, 2001.
