Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis airborne camera service rental consisting of: FAA certified Tyler Camera Mounts; A-star Helicopter with FAA certified Tyler Camera Mount Interface, Bell Long-Ranger Helicopter with TCAS or equivalent transponder all with experienced aerial camera pilots for pre planned Detect See and Avoid (DSA) digital Image data collection. This requirement is sole sourced to Tyler Camera Systems, 14128 Aetna Street, Van Nuys, CA 91401 for unique capabilities meeting the government's minimum needs. Any firms believing that they can provide the required airborne camera service rental may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing it's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
