DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DADA09-01-T-0438 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The solicitation is unrestricted. CLIN 0001 Cylinder Machine Toric Surfacer Quantity: 6 Ea. Description: Cylinder Machine Toric Surfacer. Features, programmable controller for automatic operation, high throughput with simultaneous lap and lens loading, ergonomic design minimizes operator fatigue, rugged components for trouble free operation, 22" w x 22 "d x 51"h, 559mm x 584mm x 1372mm, weight 510 lbs/232kg. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: If quoting on "an equal" provide number and/or manufacturer information in your comments and fax specifications. If no comments on name brand or equal are received at time of quoting, your quote may be considered nonresponsive. Ship to Address: BAMC Director of Logistics, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234-6200. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Past performance may be used to evaluate offeror. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. The funds may or may not be available for this requirement. Warranty: The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warrant normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of the contract. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation should provide this office with the following: a price quote, submitted on your company letterhead or your standard company quotation forms, for the request item showing solicitation number, unit price, extended price: FOB, delivery time, and correct address. Offerors must be signed. Each offeror shall include their Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) Number and their commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The offeror is responsible to confirm telephonically that the Government received all quotations submitted. All responsible sources may submit an offeror which will be considered.
