Description

ANNIES GYG TIMBER STAND IMPROVEMENT-PRECOMMERCIAL/COMMERCIAL THINNING, SALMON-CHALLIS N.F., CHALLIS RANGER DISTRICT. Project requires precommercial/commercial cutting and felling of trees and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. Items are in old, logged timber sale unit on nearly flat to fairly steep (5-65%) slopes. Project involves approximately 363 acres. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. A pre-bid tour will take place on September 14, 2001 at the Challis Ranger District Parking Lot in Challis, ID. For information, contact Dave Faike at (208) 879-4100.
