Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis modification on nozzle fin assembly changing from firing out of a gun using inert rocket motors to firing out of a gun using live rocket motors. This requirement is sole sourced to Custom Analytical Engineering Systems, Inc 13000 Tensor Lane NE Flintstone, MD 21530 as the only source meeting the government minimum requirements for Nozzle Fin Assemblies for firing from a 5 inch naval gun. Any firms believing that they can provide the required modification on nozzle fin assembly may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing it's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
