Description

Items consisting of office furniture and equipment, kitchen equipment, medical equipment, engines, generators, forklift, scraper, front end loader, welders, mowers, saws, grinder, lathe, drill press, trucks, sedans, trailers and other items will be sold by the General Services Administration on Thursday, September 6, 2001, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The auction will be held at the Louisiana Federal Property Agency, 1635 Foss Drive, Baton Rouge, LA. The sale is open to the public. Items are located at the sale site. Inspection will be August 31, 2001, and September 4-5, 2001, from 8 am to 4 pm, and on the morning of the sale, September 6, from 8 am to 9 am. The agency will be closed on Monday, September 3 (Labor Day). Sale information and catalogs are available at the sale site. Items will be sold coimpetitively to the highest bidder. Itms will be sold in numerical sequence as listed in the sales catalog. Payments can be made with cash, cashier's check, money orders, or other guaranteed instruments. MasterCard, VISA, Discover, Private Issue, Bravo and American Express credit cards will be accepted with an approval from the issuing bank. Personal or business checks must be accompanied by an approved bank letter of guarantee; sample bank letters are available in the sale catalog or by calling the GSA Sales office at 1-800-495-1276. Catalogs may also be obtained from the faxback server by calling 817-978-9907 or 9908 and following the instructions on the recorder.
