- Description
- The VA Northern California Health Care System has a requirement for a Chevrolet Model 3500 four wheel drive crew cab truck or similar as described below for the Redding VA Outpatient Clinic, Chevy Silverado 3500 4x4 crew/cab 167" wheelbase(or equal);Capability to tow 15,000 lb GW fifth wheel trailer; Fifth wheel hitch; Trailer Tow Package with Limited Slip with 5th wheel setup; Allison 5 Speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission w/OD;Air Conditioning; Dual Alternators; LT215/85R16E on-off Road SBR BSW Tires; 6L (403) FI V8 (Duramax) Turbo Diesel with expanded fuel tank capacity & dual batteries; Undercoat underbody of the truck; ETR AM/FM Stereo w/compact disc, auto tone control. Truck will be used to tow a fifth wheel mobile clinic to remote areasThe Chevrolet Truck is the only truck with the capability to tow a 15,700 lb trailer. Truck is to be delivered to The VA Outpatient Clinic at 351 HArtnell Ave, Redding CA.
