- Description
- Sole Source Commercial Item. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate with Perkin-Elmer Corporation, 761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06859 for on-call support services and equipment for a one-year period with t wo-one year options. The equipment possesses hardware design and technical data proprietary to Perkin-Elmer. This acquisition shall be conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial services. Services shall be paid on a fixed price, monthly basis. Replaceme nt parts shall be deemed to be included in the monthly price. Replacement or repair parts shall be new. The contract shall not cover or include spare parts or consumable items. The equipment consists of one each of: AA 5100-PC, P/N 151077; 5100ZL Furnace Module, PN#8342; HGA Cooling System, PN #4499; AS-70, PN# 5092; AS-90 PN#8580; FIAS-400 PN#4473; GC Autosystem I-IV, PN#610N4122801; GC Head Space HS-40, PN#2661. The contractor will provide all replacement parts. The coat for all replacement parts are d eemed to be included in the prices listed above. Parts refer only to those parts used on replacement in the performance of emergency repairs or maintenance. The contract will cover on-demand maintenance/repairs to correct malfunctions encountered with no rmal everyday equipment use. Service also includes all intervening calls necessary between inspections but excepting repairs necessitated by accident, current fluctuation, fire or abuse. Failure to comply will result in withholding or payment delay. At any time during the contract, the Government may, at its option, add additional items(s) of the same models or already listed or may discontinue the service on any item(s) upon 30-day written notice to the Contractor of its intention to increase or decreas e any item(s). The contract DOES NOT require the Contractor to provide regularly scheduled maintenance. The Sic Code is 3826/500 & NAICS Code 334616. The Contractor shall perform all services during the USAYPG standard week (6:00 a.m. to 5: p.m., Monday through Thursday). There is no site access on Fridays. The Contractor will not be working with any classified information or material.
