Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for restoration of High Frequency Sail Array (HFSA) hydrophone modules (DT-699) and projectors (TR-364). Projector/hydrophone repair will be performed, primarily, by removal and replacement of defective components. All replacement components shall conform to the requirements of individual projector/hydrophone assembly drawings. There are no Technical Repair Standards (TRS) for the projector and hydrophone. The contractor shall be responsible for developing repair procedures. A five year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm fixed price provisions is anticipated. Estimated maximum annual quantities are 30 for the DT-699 and 10 for the TR-364. A single award, made on a Best Value basis, is planned. Evaluation factors are Technical Capability (including Technical Approach and Past Performance) and Price. A Classified facility at the Confidential level is required for the restoration efforts.
