Description

This is a solicitation synopsis. Provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to Remove and Install High Voltage Lines (building #18), per the plans and specifications. This work primarily consists of removing existing and installing new overhead high voltage (5 KV) lines and cross arms. Other work includes connecting an exterior enclosure containing a 300 KVA transformer with metering and secondary fused switches. Work includes removal of a pole mounted transformer and installation of new transformer on a concrete pad. SIC code is 1542. NAICS code is 234920. Location is the North Riverside Maintenance Center, 8660 West Cermak Road, North Riverside, IL 60546-1128. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Sealed bid required. Firm fixed price contract to be awarded. All responsible sources may submit a bid. Solicitations will be issued on or about 14 AUG 2001 with bid opening approximately 30 days later.
