Description

Synopsis Modification 2 -- Subject solicitation as posted June 27, 2001 and suspended July 6, 2001 is hereby reactivated. This project is for modernization of the systems controls for all building elevators (4 passenger and 1 freight car) including upgrade of the dispatch and motion control systems in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and current building codes. Upgrades shall bring the elevators up to current seismic codes, with the exception of structural modification to the building. The NAICS is 235950 with a size standard of $11.5 million and the estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. GSA will issue this solicitation electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.eps.gov, on or about August 15, 2001. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation. Drawings will be made available upon request to sharon.blair@gsa.gov. It is also the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the site for possible amendments and/or additional information. No hard copies will be provided.
