Description

The National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Operations Office (NNSA/NV), intends to solicit the services of Gylan Allen on a sole basis to provide technical and amangement exptertise to NNSA/NV in carrying out their maintenance of nuclear test capability and stockpile stewardship and management responsibilities. These activities encompass essentially all aspects of stockpile stewardship, including subcritical experiments, underground test readiness, other Nevada Test Site experiments, above ground experiments at the Nuclear Weapons Laboratories, and Arms Control and Treaty issues. The services to be provided include but are not limited to strategic planning, independent review and analysis of proposed stockpile stewardship and management plans and activities, provide independent advice and recommendations to NNSA/NV management and perform management studies relating to underground nuclear weapons testing readiness and emergency management issues. Due ot the unique nature of the work, and security issues, possession of a "Q" clearance is required.
