Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC) has a requirement to provide Air Monitoring and Laboratory Testing services for the on-call asbestos abatement contractor at Eglin AFB, FL. The contractor shall assume full responsibility and liability for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to, but not limited to, work practices, protection of workers, visitors to the site, and persons occupying areas adjacent to the site. The contractor will be called to Eglin to work asbestos air monitoring scheduled for any hour, morning, day, evening, or night. The daily rate shall include 8 hours of air monitoring and supervision, including the first 10 Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) samples. The contractor may be requested to provide Transmission Electronic Microscopy (TEM), and or Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) samples. The Basic performance period is 01 Nov 01 to 30 Oct 02 with four (4) one-year option periods. =20 Responses to indicate interest in this requirement are due within thirty (30) days. This is not a proposal receipt date. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. This acquisition will utilize the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, with a size standard of $5 Million. Respondees should indicate whether they are a small, small disadvantaged or large business based on the size standard applicable to this acquisition. The Government reserves the right to consider this acquisition for a small business set-aside based on the responses to this synopsis. Contractors should check this website for updates.
