Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention=s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) is seeking a contractor to explore, define and document findings and activities of the Association of State and Territorial Health Offi cials (ASTHO). The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials equipment required to gather information, within the ASTHO membership, relative to the role and capabilities of State public health injury prevention program, shall develop materials /processes supporting a broadened approach to injury prevention and control. MINIMUM VENDOR QUALIFICATIONS: a) Access to ASTHO membership and ASTHO affiliate membership; b). Access to ASTHO and A STHO Committee publications and Websites.; c). Access to and ability to receive input from all senior State public health of ficials. d). Expertise in developing and carrying out regional meetings and conference call seminars intended foxpr an audi ence of senior State public health officials; Expertise in effective broad dissemination of materials and information to se nior public health officials. e) Expertise in effective broad dissemination of materials and information to senior public health f). Have Credibility and recognition for expertise with individual State public health officials g). Be knowledge able of state -of-the-art public health approaches and strategies, with special emphasis on public health approaches to inju ry prevention; h). Have adequate qualified personnel to successfully perform the service by the date required. First deliverable is due September 1, 2001.
