Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Beststart Social Marketing for a project to improve access to and utilization of dietary guidelines for low literacy and Spanish language groups. FNS has determined the methodology to be proprietary based on an unsolicited proposal submitted by Beststart. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c) (1), and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responses received from other qualified sources prior to close of business August 24, 2001 will be evaluated.
